Supplement your two-handed backhand with a one-handed slice!

Writer: waterfalltennisacawaterfalltennisaca

Almost everyone I coach has a two-handed backhand. In order to take your game to the next level, it is important to learn how to hit a one-handed slice backhand. It becomes easier as you practice and get the hang of it. Think of your one-handed back hand volley; a one hand slice is virtually the same thing, just extended. Hit your backhand volley and slowly move back, extend your stroke and take the ball on the bounce. That should get you started on your slice.
